Fighter and helicopter pilots, airplane maintenance ground staff... all of these people face extreme noise. Unfortunately, they are not fully protected against the dangers and harmful effects of these high volumes, which can result in irreparable damage to the human ear.

Omara is an earphone system designed to protect the hearing of professionals exposed to noisy environments. Combined with an adapted helmet, it provides the perfect intelligibility in extreme noise and ensures the long-term sustainability of hearing capacity.

Our history

In 2005, scientists from Amplifon embarked on a research project that led to the development of an innovative hearing protector called OMARA, which is currently used by the air forces of various countries.

Inspired by their day-to-day work, which focused on both hearing loss prevention and hearing correction, and after two years of research and optimization of various prototypes, a particularly innovative hearing protector was born with the help of pilots who tested the product during flights.
